A Nashvillian accustomed to having full access to a thriving music scenes, I arrived in Florence, Italy expecting to find my way into the music scene Florence had to offer. Weeks rolled by without much luck, so I decided to search a little more and try to find what I was missing.  To my surprise, it wasn't an issue of my not knowing the right places or having the right connections, but instead it seemed the music scene in Florence just wasn't thriving.  Check out my podcast complete with interviews by Florentine musicians, locals, and students as they explain or even come to grips with a underdeveloped music scene within this Renaissance city.
