Ragan Clark started her career in journalism at an online culture publication in Nashville, Tennessee. There, she interviewed artists such as Bear Hands, Kaleo and Allen Stone, wrote features and reviews and photographed concerts and events.
After her undergraduate studies she moved to London where she received a master's degree in Digital Asset and Media Management while freelancing as a video producer for the Associated Press. After completing her dissertation on the effects of the internet on the integrity of journalism, she moved to New York where she continued to freelance with AP as a video producer. She was then employed full-time at the AP as a Social Media Producer for entertainment and sports, where she interviewed talent such as Mariah Carey, Anne Hathaway and Glenn Close.
Ragan is now at The New York Times as the visual manager of their weekend social programming. She edits and curates photos and uses graphic design to enhance The Times' digital storytelling output.
Her writing is published by numerous publications including The Washington Post, U.S. News and World Report, ABC News and The Telegraph.
